International Student Visa Program

Students from all over the world come to study at Dance New Amsterdam, to train with today's dance masters and to be part of New York City's vibrant dance community.

The International Student Visa Program is an independent study program open to international students of all levels, beginner through professional. Students create an individual curriculum, choosing from the numerous styles, techniques, and levels offered at Dance New Amsterdam.

Dance New Amsterdam is authorized under Federal law to enroll nonimmigrant alien students.

The International Student Visa Program begins with:

Orientation
A one-on-one evaluation with one of our distinguished faculty members

During the International Student Visa Program, students will receive:

35 classes per month, which may be selected from any of our open classes.
Our open class schedule includes classes in Modern, Ballet, Simonson Technique, Jazz, Hip Hop, African, Middle Eastern, Yoga, Pilates, Klein Technique, and more.

DNA membership, which offers discounts on:
DNA workshops and extra classes
tickets to performances in DNA's theater
DNA merchandise

Program Duration

The International Student Visa Program requires a minimum of 6 months of study. Students may apply for an initial 6 month or 12 month period of study, and may apply for extensions, for up to three total years of study. At the conclusion of study, students will receive a Certificate of Completion.

Semesters begin on the first of every month.
